Description
Medical Radioisotopes have high potential for cancer treatment. However, a stable and independent isotope supply remains technologically challenging. To circumvent this constraint, we present here a Multi-ion Linac for Medical Radioisotopes. This Linac consists of two ion sources, an RFQ and several IH-DTLs. The layout, principle and the key RF components are discussed in this talk.
